Program Overview

This program offers licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) the opportunity to achieve a Baccalaureate of Science in nursing (BSN) Degree in an accelerated time frame. RN-BSN students can complete the upper division nursing courses in three semesters of full-time study.

The RN to BSN program bridges the knowledge gap between associate degree prepared RNs and BSN prepared RN to maximize effective patient care, to provide career mobility and advancement, and to provide the foundation for potential advanced education.

The program consists of 120 credit hours, in which 60 credits must be completed at ENS. The RN to BSN track builds on previous nursing education and experiences. All students admitted to the RN to BSN program must have graduated from an ACEN accredited nursing program with either an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program. ENS will award up to 60 credits for prior learning obtained in an ASN or ADN program.

Upon completion of this program students will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
